In Blurred Lines, the singer is in the positive role of the "liberator", who is always assuming the attitude of the woman although there's no mention in the song of her actual response, only the singer's belief about what she wants. While the woman is now seeing someone else, there is a past consensual relationship between the two "I can still hear you making that sound Taking me down, rolling on the ground". The lyrics of the song depict graphic desire and the word choice implies an unhealthy/ passionate dynamic "eat you alive", "preying".
